'Zor Laga Ke Haiya', based around the mindless cutting of trees that is taking place in the name of urbanization, ran a serious risk of looking like a lecture on environment abuse. However, debutante director Girish managed to put his point across beautifully, while carefully avoiding the role of a preacher. In fact, one of the best things about the movie is that it actually revolves around kids, without any adult playing the role of a hero. Though the film is moralistic in its very nature, it is surely not without the entertainment quotient.
